Sometimes we find ourselves so wrapped up in our own stuff that we forget to look around, forget to pay attention, forget to listen and forget what we have been taught by the Lord. In the middle of storms its easy to get confused, lost even. Its easy to get so focused on what you are doing that you forget there are others in that same battle in just as much pain and in just as much despair. We heard this song yesterday and it so reached into our hearts and as I watched the video, I realized that I had fallen into some stereotypical thinking, putting God into a box and I repented. I am so glad He cleans us up and sets us on a high place, I am so glad that even though He doesn't change our circumstances, He changes our hearts. I am so glad I am not who I want to be but I am not who I used to be and I am so glad that He has forgiven me, even when I forget others and respond with selfish self preservation and even when I think I know what He should do or what others should do....Forgive my arrogance, Forgive my assumptions, and Forgive my expectations....
