The details of the Prayer request for Casey...see previous post....

Dear praying brothers & sisters in Christ,

We've had an urgent prayer request for Casey Deckard come to our attention this morning.    Last night he was hit head-on by a drunk driver in South Beach.  Casey was seriously injured and life-flighted to Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland.  He was listed in critical condition this morning with both legs broken, one arm broken, a broken pelvis, major internal injuries and a ruptured spleen. He went in for surgery this morning, and our latest information is that he has been stabilized and it looks as if he will survive.  Please be praying for the Lord's continued healing of Casey, wisdom and guidance for the doctors and medical staff, comfort and encouragement for his wife, Kelley, and a deep sense of God's loving care over them all.

There is a medical fund started on their behalf at the Waldport Umpqua Bank, or if you would like to make a donation through the church, we'll be glad to get it to this fund.

Jesus bless you as you reach out in prayer for this young family,
Lila

PS.  Casey, Kelley and their two little ones, Kaiden & Mackennah, are in our latest Church Directory, if you would like to put a face to the name.  They come to church regularly, but Casey is pretty quiet.  Casey works for the Oregon Dept. of Fish & Wildlife.  Kelley is one of our It's A New Day Preschool teachers, grew up here in Waldport (was Kelley Bond before marrying Casey,) and has much extended family here.
